Reporting to the Director of Transport and Logistics, the incumbent actively participates in the smooth running of the Transport and Logistics Department, both in terms of day-to-day activities, well established by contract and procedures, and in terms of less recurrent requests requiring more specific analysis and more in-depth knowledge of various factors: carriers, customs regulations, etc.

THE MANDATE
▶ Handle special non-standard shipments and pick-ups
▶ Manage overseas shipments and returns
▶ Ensure inventory visibility and tracking throughout the supply chain
▶ Implement efficient logistics practices to minimize delays and optimize costs
▶ Coordinate shipments and returns of materials required for company marketing events and trade shows
▶ Monitor market trends in the transportation field, identify and analyze opportunities
▶ Be prepared to react quickly in the event of major logistical incidents or problems
▶ Participate in the development and monitoring of performance indicators to assess the department's efficiency from a qualitative and financial point of view

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE
▶ Holds a college degree or certification in logistics and transportation or in a relevant field
▶ Has solid logistics experience in maritime transport and North American land transport
▶ Has North American and international customs experience
▶ Is perfectly bilingual (French and English)
▶ Demonstrates autonomy and organization of priorities
▶ Demonstrates perseverance in obtaining information within the scope of his/her duties
▶ Enjoys working as part of a team
